Product Overview
The BK-NP Series UPS systems are equipped with advanced Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) batteries, designed to offer reliable and maintenance-free power backup. These batteries play a crucial role in ensuring uninterrupted power supply during mains failures, effectively protecting connected equipment from potential damage caused by power outages.
Product Features
Simple Maintenance
- Flame retardant, super ABS shell, using polymer epoxy sealing technology, it has a solid appearance, firm structure and
- reliable sealing characteristics.
- Inert gas welding and special glue secondary sealing to ensure no leakage.
- Unique design bolt safety valve.
Excellent Performance
- Grid made of special alloys, strict control of the separator, electrolyte impurities and various processes with low self-discharge.
- Positive grid using a special multi-alloy, effectively preventing the early loss of battery capacity. Float use and recycling gas well as long life.
- Plates, buses, pole etc. optimized design, partitions resistance is very low, hence, the battery internal resistance is small and good high-current discharge performance can be achieved.
- Large rectangular grid plate block structure, proprietary technology 4BS formed to improve the energy of the battery, thus, extending the battery’s cycle life.
- Using the absorption of ultra-fine glass fiber separator for low internal resistance and good high-rate discharge performance.
- Positive and negative lead paste by adding special additives. High utilization of active materials as well as having strong ability to over-charge/discharge.
- Using a unique combination of labyrinth seal structure pole and welding processes to ensure a safe and reliable seal.
- Double vertical U-shaped patter and tight assembly technology, effectively preventing the effects of pressure on the diaphragm plate.
- Large diameter copper pole with good conductivity.
- After a deep discharge, as long as battery fully charged, the battery capacity is not reduced, hence, the battery has good recovery performance.
Reliability and Safety
- Good performance of the opening and closing of the valve, and long product life cycle.
- Valve body made of ABS material, with a spool columnar structure. Dual and mist filter with accurate control of the opening and closing valve pressure, flame retardant and acid mist filtering function.
- Valve can not only emit excessive gas caused by misuse or overcharge, but also prevent external air or sparks entering the battery inside leading to self-discharge or bursting.

Charging characteristic curve
The following data is based on 12V series batteries as an example
After the battery is discharged, 13.38V/single 25℃ charging voltage is used for recovery charging, the charging time depends on the amount of discharge, the initial current of charging, the following figure shows the depth of discharge at 50%°C. With 100% ℃ when the 6GFM series battery constant voltage 13.38V / single 25 ℃, current limiting 0.1C, A charging characteristics.

Replenishment:If the battery has been stored for a long period of time before use, it needs to be replenished with electricity, and the system is as shown below.

Cyclic use, the battery adopts constant voltage current limiting charging, charging voltage 2.35V / single 25℃ initial charging current and temperature regulation is the same as the use of float charging, charging current and charging time relationship curve As shown in the right figure.
